*** “This is genius! I get frustrated when I get "off-schedule" from the day listed in the teacher's manual. This is exactly what I needed." L.S., USA***
Are you a homeschooling mom or dad who feels overwhelmed and behind in your daily lesson schedule? Are you constantly playing “catch up” with your kids’ subjects?
Is the pressure of not being good enough, fast enough, efficient enough, organized enough, and totally on top of things all the time weighing you down?
If you are struggling to get everything in during your homeschool day, or if you feel overwhelmed and stressed when you have to skip something, or if you find yourself feeling guilty when life gets in the way and you have to stop school for the day, this system might just be for you!
***“This is seriously a life-saver! I only have 2 in 1st as of now, but I find myself in the same predicament you described all the time. I'm currently taking college courses myself so it's as if I'm working full time & homeschooling. I am seriously going to do this tomorrow since it's my day off, thank you!” A.G, Rockfield, Maryland***
The EZ Squares Lesson Planning System is a simple (and I mean SIMPLE) approach to planning lessons for multiple subjects in your homeschool. The system works with any curriculum, and any number of children. It also works whether you are using a box curriculum or you’ve put together your own.
This lesson planning system took a significant amount of weight off my shoulders. It eliminated the stress to “keep up” with the lesson plans in the manuals, took away the pressure of feeling like I had to “get it all done” by the end of the day, and helped me to truly feel the flexibility and freedom of homeschool. It has helped me to slow my day down, have more patience, and enjoy teaching my kids more. In a nutshell, it has really helped me to just chill out.
What if I told you, you didn’t have to worry about a daily schedule? What if you didn’t have a daily “quota” looming over your head, guilting you into feelings of defeat when you didn’t reach it? What if the pressure of a confining schedule disappeared and you felt free to have more “be in the moment” kind of homeschooling days. Do you think your homeschool would be more fun and enjoyable for everyone involved?
***“THANK YOU from my heart for sharing this wonderful set for the schedule, for sharing the idea God put in your heart and for being available to help us all. I am going to implement this asap.” A.A. Minneapolis, Minnesota***
Whether you use a “put together for you” box curriculum that plans out your entire school year day by day, or piece meal it together yourself, this system helps to significantly simplify your days, causing your homeschool to run much smoother and efficient.
It has blessed my family greatly, and I pray it will bless yours too!
***“Thank you for sharing! I have been thinking I need to make some changes and this might just work!! Thank you!!” R.S. Prince George, Virginia***
***“This is perfect! Some days we get it all done, some we don't this will make my life so much easier, lol. Thank you” K.S. Garner, North Carolina***
***“I absolutely love this idea. Thank you so much for sharing.” J.D, USA***
***“ I think you are on to something here! I love this!!” C.G., Florida***
***“This is just so awesome, so inspiring. I appreciate you sharing, so much! I just love learning from other homeschoolers!!” J.D., USA***
EZ Squares Lesson Planning System 16 Squares Your Homeschool Can't Be Without eBook April Martella
Well, the book (or article?) itself is mostly just a lot of promotion for the "system," and I really didn't care to read any of that. I could have just been given a picture of the system with an explanation of the dots and that would have sufficed. That being said, the system is really a very good idea. If this were a blog post or article or something, the author really would never have gotten appropriate monetary compensation for her good idea, and she may not be interested or have the resources to create a planner that she can sell, so I certainly don't mind paying a few dollars to give her credit for a great idea. I appreciate the help. I just hope no one scams her idea to turn a profit.Product details

EZ Squares Lesson Planning System 16 Squares Your Homeschool Can't Be Without eBook April Martella Reviews
Quick EZ read. I'll try this system and hope it works as well for me as it has the author. Thanks for this tip on organizing my schedule with a little less stress.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful way to schedule our homeschool. I read your book last night and converted the last 36 days of school to your method. I also informed my son that when he completed all the squares for the year, school was in summer recess. Good motivator for both of us. I chose to make a grid in power point and fill it in using the computer. It took me about 1 hour to set up 36 days for math, language arts, history, science, and reading.
Today was my first go, and the day went smoothly. There was plenty of space to make notes. I also let DS8, review each class plan and as a result we are ahead in 2 classes bc he chose to do more work. I could see this method working toward self-sufficiency in the future.
The bottom line, it's the end if the school day and I am writing a review not planning. THANKS!
I just finished this book and have not had a chance to implement the technique described by this author. However I have spent this past school year feeling completely overwhelmed and like a failure even though this isn't our first year homeschooling. Our family suffered a devastating loss at the beginning of the school year, on top of serious illnesses, a major job change, and other stressors that interrupted our normal "groove." We have limped along in every area as a result, and I have been bewildered as to how I would get us back on track. This method gives me hope of finding our path again, and regaining momentum! I'm actually going to try it with the lessons we have left in the year and attempt to salvage what's left of it.
If you're considering this book, and you've been frustrated with your lesson planning or your homeschool organization could use an overhaul, then I recommend that you read it. I definitely recommend this book to a homeschool parent that is planning the next year. It is a very quick read, but it provides a free template to save you time, and when you're homeschooling that's worth gold.
One last little note, if you're discouraged take a moment to read the very last page where the author tells a bit about herself and her own homeschool journey as a Christian. This really resonated with me as a mom, and it reinforced my own purpose in choosing to homeschool. However, if you aren't a Christian, you won't find an overtly Christian theme throughput the book, and I can see how the method could work in any type of homeschool setting. In fact, the author makes suggestions for other ways to use this system, and I may try those as well.
